Account Manager | Non-retail | Fresh Produce
We are working with one of the most highly regarded fresh produce businesses in the UK who have seen fantastic growth over the last few years. They are currently looking for an Account Manager to work on their wholesale and foodservice accounts, which are making excellent progress within a business which has been traditionally focused on retail customers. Knowledge of their specific products is not essential, but good experience with fresh produce in general is!
Marketing the companies own produce to markets around the country, but also utilising your experience to introduce other products as opportunities arise.
Working closely with the Supply Chain team to ensure deliveries are on schedule and can be delivered to customers without incident.
Managing the processes from start to finish and taking full ownership of delivery within your department.
Must have experience in fresh produce and have dealt with the main wholesale markets around the country. Experience of dealing with foodservice would be a distinct advantage.
Will be a good negotiator with a proven track record of delivering results.
Will ideally have access to a variety of suppliers who require an outlet for their products.
