Export Manager – Europe

MacGregor Black is currently assisting a leading ingredients manufacturer, on a strategic search for a Export Manager – Europe.  This is a Full-Time permanent Home Based role.

Reporting to the Head of International, the Export Manager – Europe will help develop and deliver profitable business opportunities and maximise sales for the organisation and their markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify & target prospect accounts (Customers & End Users) in their Channel and secure new business
  • Support Head of International in delivering Channel business plan and performance
  • Utilise full Team (Technical, Category, Development etc) in support of customer and business development
  • Work effectively with Technical, Category and Sales support resources to develop and deliver clear and effective promotional and customer support plans in support of Channel business plans & to raise/maximise the company’s profile in international markets
  • Positively represent the company within the International markets and to related Industry organisations and trade bodies
  • Preparation and delivery of a key account and end user development plans
  • Develop and agree appropriate promotional and support activity in the territory to maximise impact of full resources for business development
  • To contribute to, and assist in, the preparation and effective implementation of the Channel Business Plan as required

What are we looking for?

  • Educated to degree-level standard or equivalent is desirable
  • Clear ability/experience in leading and working with cross-functional teams
  • Have experience of International business development and key account management in the food industry, FMCG and Food Service
  • Have a high degree of commercial awareness and effectiveness 
  • Financial awareness and understanding
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Have a creative and lateral approach to providing business solutions
  • Demonstrable capability in managing change and uncertainly

You must be: Self-Motivated, Enthusiastic, Confident, Creative, a Negotiator and a Communicator.
