National Account Controller

If you’re reading this, you’re of a level where you know what’s expected in a senior leadership position. A National Account Controller here is as you’d find in most other FMCG blue chips. The difference is likely the level of output that’s expected. Whilst they’re a significant player in the industry, their team is lean and along with high expectations that most have, they’re looking for actions, deliverables and someone who can’t just understand the makeup of a P&L but someone who has real substance, is a doer, and is able to articulate the maths behind proposals that justify your decision making. You’re taking centre stage with this role!
What are we looking for?
- Top 4 Grocery or Wholesale/ Impulse experience – we’re looking for someone who can demonstrate working strategically and is excellent with numbers yet can also develop long term partnerships, thinking more broadly and finding different ways to engage to drive growth.
- A high level of commerciality.
- A strong learning agility.
- An ability to understand a team quickly, identify talent, development and implement a plan for growth.
- Strong social awareness.
- Further ambition and clear drive.
- A restless persona.
- Someone with strong analytical skills.
- Blue chip FMCG experience within a branded environment.
