National Account Manager – Food Manufacturers/ B2B
Home Based – Preferable locations – North East/North West/Yorkshire

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturer of both branded and bespoke finished food ingredients. The company was established over 30 years ago and supply into the Retail, Foodservice and Food Manufacturing channels. They have a great team in place following some exciting new changes to the senior management team. They are now looking to increase their sales team in line with their long-term strategy and growth plans.
The role will report into the Head of B2B. This is a very autonomous role; you will be responsible for your own diary management and prioritising meetings with new and existing clients.
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for driving and identifying B2B sales with Food Manufacturers/Processors
- To use a more consultative approach and qualify the needs of the customer
- Work closely and communicate with NPD, Marketing and customer services, to be the voice of your customer
- Create sales plan and budgets collaboratively with the Head Of B2B
- Deliver accurate forecasts on a rolling 6-month basis
- Cross functionally work with Marketing, NPD, Operations, Production, Procurement and Finance
The right candidate for this role will have worked in a sales role, selling into B2B or Manufacturers for over 3 years and have a clear knowledge of how the sales process works from start to finish. They are looking for someone who is passionate about sales, can identify what the client’s requirements are and use a consultative approach rather than a hard sell. You must have a clean driving license and have the right to work in the UK. This role will involve travelling to meet with potential clients. You would be required in the office once a week.
