Are you a National Account Manager with a proven track record in supplying the major food retailers? If so we want to hear from you.

About the Client:
We are currently working with a privately owned business with a great reputation, who are looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of a National Account Manager. They represent a number of manufacturers across multiple categories and have successfully built strong relationships with the majority of the food retailers and discounters. Due to the diverse range of products that they offer, they have access to multiple NPD pipelines and always have a new product to launch. Although they are a smaller privately owned business they have a wide reach and punch above their weight, whilst maintaining a family business feel.

About the Job:
You will use your account management skills and sales energy to identify opportunities within the market and existing accounts to drive sales forward. A strong negotiator, you will have a track record of delivering commercial results and successfully pushing through price increases and a greater range of products. You will be well versed in dealing with the major UK retailers and know how to take a category led approach to deliver results for customers and our client. You will be able to show a track record of results across multiple food categories.

The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will come with a proven track record of delivering increased business with the UK retailers.You will be able to demonstrate your ability to work with the retailers to deliver increased sales and volume, whilst maintaining margins. You will have experience in different food categories and be able to apply a robust process to any food category. You will be a strong team player and be able to work within a smaller business to deliver results.

Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this position, as a minimum, you MUST have experience in managing the UK retail multiples, have a fantastic attitude and be hungry and driven to progress and deliver results.

Salary:
Circa £45k -£65k DOE
