A leading blue chip FMCG company is recruiting for a National Account Executive to work within their Foodservice

division. This business is instantly recognisable globally with a portfolio of truly iconic food brand and a career path

which will see the opportunity for fast tracked progression from National Account Executive to NAM in no time.


This could be your first National Account Executive role and a great opportunity to learn the trade in an ambitious and entrepreneurial team. You’ll be part of a newly formed team focusing on dominating within foodservice channel. As National Account Exec you will pick up a portfolio of customers, with full P&L responsibility. You will be responsible for the achievement of volume, profit and net revenue, whilst developing brand presence within the channel. You will be responsible for negotiating trade terms and mutually beneficial JBP’s with your customer base and be expected to design successful trade spends. This organisation and line manager have an excellent track record of developing talent from within, so the learning and opportunities available in this team are unmissable!


Field Based with expectation of 2 days per week in office.


You will be on the upward trajectory of your career, sitting in either a National Account Executive role or Field Sales position. You will have experience with P&L and budget responsibility in a FMCG environment. You will be highly analytical with strong influencing skills as you will be required to influence at all levels internally & externally. A resilient professional with real passion, drive and enthusiasm is required to move into this role. A real highflyer searching for new challenges would be an ideal candidate to work in such a fast-paced environment.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • FMCG sales
  • P&L exposure (not essential though!)
  • Superb relationship building skills
  • Strongly analytical
  • Exceptional influencing skills
  • Understanding in category management and ability to apply this
  • A positive and ’can do’ attitude
