Senior National Account Manager

The Company

This organisation is a small, disruptive FMCG business, with several instantly recognisable brands. This forward-thinking business adopts an innovative approach, doing a lot to drive the category forward and innovate into new areas, while investing in the development of its employees to create further success. They have recently agreed to invest heavily in NPD, so with plenty of new ideas coming in, it is an exciting time to join. Continuing their impressive growth, this business is now looking for a Senior National Account Manager.



The Role

You will be tasked with driving the growth of a variety of products, carrying out the following key responsibilities:
  • Developing strong relationships with new and existing customers at all levels
  • Managing P&L and JBPs with Top 4 grocery accounts
  • Identifying and making the most of new opportunities to expand the business and create growth in new areas
  • Proactively building relationships internally and externally to drive growth
  • Working closely with other departments such as NPD and marketing to maximise opportunities to develop products
  • Liaising with buyers to initiate listings

The Person
  • The candidate must have proven experience within FMCG sales, ideally as a Senior National Account Manager
  • Someone who has demonstrated success in building new relationships with customers, as well as developing existing relationships to create growth
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starting, analytical, with an ability to build strong relationships and network within the retailer to unlock better relationships across the business
  • A strong influencer, with previous experience developing and implementing JBPs
  • Previous P&L management within Top 4
  • Ideally degree educated
  • Energetic and with strong interpersonal skills
