National Account Manager | Fresh Produce
We are working with a leading fresh produce business who are looking to add a National Account Manager to their team after sustained growth and success. This business offer a brilliant and unique service to their clients and have an excellent reputation in the industry.
This role will be customer focused with a real push towards developing sales growth, along with building multi-level, long term relationships. It will be split between maintaining current growth with channels to existing customers but also continuing to develop new business opportunities, in line with company growth targets.
You will be providing accurate forecasts and data which will be crucial in supporting the Operations, Finance and Procurement team with their own strategy, you will also be assisting and contributing to the NPD team where necessary. Along with developing your own sales & marketing strategy, negotiating prices and ensuring the highest service levels to customers.
The successful candidate will have the following:
Educated to degree level, ideally with a food or agribusiness qualification, but this is not essential.
A good level of experience in the fresh produce industry, ideally over 3 years.
Very numerate, excellent communication skills and a brilliant understanding of Microsoft Office.
