My client is one of the world's leading technology innovators. Regarded as one of the tech giants within it's industry, a fantastic opportunity has developed for a Account Manager to join a fast paced and highly successful business. Head office based in hertfordshire.
To proactively contact and profile prospective customers using a targeted approach. Build and develop a list of managed accounts in order to increase sales into targeted Education customers. Increase breadth, customer retention and quality of breadth.
- Proactively calling, visiting and selling in to customers focusing on Education End Users and Resellers
- Build and maintain customer profiles from target account list
- Support distribution call out day offers into targeted account list
- Work with the Education and Enterprise team to provide additional support when required, sending out quotations, resolving issues etc.
- Act and respond quickly to all customer queries or problems
- Proven experience in a customer facing position, ideally within the IT/technology arena
- Previous experience in a sales or outbound customer services environment would be beneficial but is not essential for candidates who can demonstrate tenacity and a strong desire to succeed
- Experience of working in a team whilst managing individual tasks
- The ability to liaise and negotiate at all level
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confident and professional telephone manner
