Due to an internal promotion we are looking to a recruit a high performing Senior National Account Manager for a branded FMCG manufacturer.

The Organisation
This business are a fast paced company who encourage fast decision making and a bias for action. They have recently revamped their entire training programme and as a result they have a best in class sales and category training programme that they offer to all the relevant teams. The benefits package is exception - for example 26 weeks full paid maternity, they offer flexible working and are renowned for promoting from within - which is why this role is such a rarity. Based in West London.
The Role
This is not a standard Senior National Account Manager role - this is the most high profile commercial role in the organisation and this hire is marked as a 'high potential' hire - meaning the person coming in should be expected to accelerate their career within this organisation very quickly. The role itself is looking after Tesco on a challenging category, so the ability to really empathise with the buyer and category challenges is key, whilst being able to take this back to the business and manage internal stakeholders to drive commercial growth/support for your segment of the business. In order to drive your development, this role purposely does not have direct reports - the organisation is keen to stretch and develop this SNAM across a breadth of projects and areas typically you would not be involved in. In order to do this without overloading the successful candidate, they have made this a non line management position - rest assured the exposure you will get to other areas of the business and projects you will have the chance to get involved in will more than make up for this.
The Person
We are looking for a high performing NAM/SNAM who is keen to get into a fast paced organisation that can accelerate their career quickly. You will have plenty of training and support available in order to achieve this potential.
As this is the most high profile commercial role in the business you must be robust and able to [largely] handle the expectation that goes with a role such as well. The category is in decline so you need to work closely with your buying team and internal stakeholders to offer as much support as you can to help turn this around. Based in West London 3/4 days a week.
