Wolseley is entering an exciting phase in their development with sales growth and customer service very much underpinning the strategy. As a result there is a need to appoint a Regional Sales Manager (North London). The RSM will lead a team of account managers whose goal is to develop, execute business opportunities within Key clients and frameworks to deliver maximum returns in relation to sales revenue and margin

Job Description
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director the key responsibilities will include
•    Developing the long-term regional sales strategy for the region as well as building innovative and targeted plans for the Sales team that is focussed on sustainable profitable growth
•    Providing inspirational leadership to the Sales team to achieve and exceed business KPIs through the disciplined prioritisation and utilisation of resources
•    Ensuring the Sales teams identifies and maximises new market opportunities whilst developing innovative solutions that will offer competitive advantage
•    Creating a high-performance culture in which the Sales teams are focused on results, motivated to deliver, and empowered to demonstrate their entrepreneurial and innovative flair
•    Taking a lead role managing and developing key clients whilst building strong internal relationships with business operations, internal sales and the branch network

The Successful Applicant
Prospective candidates will have a demonstrable track record of sales management gained in the building/plumbing merchants sector. Experience of manging and developing sales account managers in a target drive organisation mandated with sustainable profitable growth is a pre requisite. Of equal importance are exceptional leadership skills coupled with a strong commercial awareness that will ensure you will have a significant impact on this growth business
