This is an exciting opportunity to join a category leading impulse business where their hero brand holds number 1 status within their sub-category! This established brand has delivered strong double digit growth over the last two years through extra distribution and successful NPD. We are looking for a Business Unit Controller to provide strategic direction for the development of their OOH channel & team.

This Business Unit Controller – Out of Home is an important role for the organisation leading a team of 4 National Account Managers spanning Wholesale, Convenience and Foodservice channels. We are looking for an inspiring leader who can give direction, coach and support both personal development whilst maximising commercial delivery. Strategically this is important channel where they over index but they still recognise there is opportunity for future growth.

As Business Unit Controller, you will lead the category and channel strategy, ensuring the National Account Managers have account plans that deliver against business priorities. Along with leading the team a key part of your brief is to develop the senior level trade contacts within the key customers; leading top to top meetings to align common goals and develop an in-depth understanding to ensure continued success.

Whilst part of a major European organisation, the UK business has a strong identity with a family feel and a leadership team with a huge amount of ambition. As Business Unit Controller – Out of Home you would be part of this senior leadership team and be involved in wider Channel & Long-term agenda extending across cross functional objectives and initiatives. Internally you will ensure all functional areas are aligned and working collaboratively to deliver profitable growth.

For this role, they are looking for an influential and inspirational Business Unit Controller or Lead Account Manager, where you’ve managed a team of 2-4 people to date. Experience working with Impulse Brands within the Out of Home Channels is key.  Of course, you’ll have held large P&L responsibility, negotiated multiple JBP’s, have strong negotiation and influencing skills. Finally, but most importantly you will have a passion for people development, along with the ability to set and communicate clear vision, coach for performance and development.
