LOOKING FOR A NEW CAREER CHALLENGE OUTSIDE FMCG?

My client is a well recognised global manufacturer with a brand leading position in the animal equipment market and a reputation for product quality and innovation.

The business has a well invested global growth strategy, with a target to significantly scale up in the future. Part of this strategic plan will involve the reorganisation of the UK & Irish markets, which will include the appointment of a classically trained and experienced UK & Ireland National Sales Manager.

The UK & Ireland National Sales Manager’s role will be focused on driving existing and new account sales through national retail, regional independent and specialist accounts with hands-on customer management, as well as leading and inspiring a field-based key account and area sales management team.

This exciting and unique appointment requires an experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record of profitable sales, plus a combination of major head office account management and field-based team management. You have developed this experience and dual management skill set throughout your career within recognised branded FMCG or consumer goods companies, which has provided you with detailed, structured and professional ways of working and standards of operation.

Currently working in the above FMCG or consumer goods functional role, you are looking for a fresh career challenge and would relish the opportunity to move into another market sector where you will take the lead in developing and implementing new systems and professional ways of team working with a total focus on future sales growth target achievement.

If you have the required experience and skills, together with the drive, determination and gravitas to shape and lead the UK & Ireland sales team, then this could be the career move you are looking for. Please send your up-to-date CV to mark@smithcarey.co.uk quoting reference MS/2079, together with details of your full benefits package.

Application closing date: 08 August 2018
