ROLE PROFILE/ JOB DESCRIPTION
1. ROLE: Commercial Support Analyst
2. BUSINESS GROUP: Commercial Finance
3. LOCATION: Southall
4. PURPOSE OF ROLE

This role is to support the account managers as a constant and central point of fundamental account management information as the gate keeper –such as pricing, contracts, leading edge insights.
Working closely with the National Account Managers, National Account Executives as well as Marketing in both Food Service and Retail channels.
You will be part of a wider Commercial Finance team who support the business in the delivery of the Strategic Plan across Sales, Marketing and Operations.
This is an administrative commercial finance role that will support, challenge and review customer information across the business with a keen customer focus. The successful candidate will support the sales managers (NAMs / NAEs) through managing information for tenders and customer presentations on market insight and inflation, hold all pricing centrally to ensure commercial finance robust controls are always in place.
This role is an opportunity to develop in the short term in other Finance or Commercial Finance roles such as Commercial Analyst or Finance Analyst

ROLE PROFILE/ JOB DESCRIPTION

6. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Commercial Support Analyst your responsibilities will include the following:

Tenders - this will include proactivity organising the requirements from the RFPs (request for pricing) for each department
- validating the returns
- support data collection of prices, Insurance documentation and financial statements
- streamlining and continuously improving the process with customer focus in mind
- Collates competition product matches and maintains file
- Collating the non-product matches within tenders as a central file for use within NPD
- Update marketing company overview deck

Hold a repository of information for all customers
- Contracts
- Holding bid price files
- Promotional offers - including E Commerce, all promo pricing, flyers
- Manage the promotion and event calendars with Marketing for Retail and FS
- Hold Market insight trends
- Marketing activity and funds
- Migration and delist SKUs sales and customer impact manages within price files and instruct SDA to align within portals

Gather and create useful processes to help sales for other departments
- Credit process
- Hardware licence agreements process
- Develop other useful process
- Samples process

Authorise
- Customer pricing credit
- Business cases and Calculators

Others
- Continuously looking to develop reporting and process to be more efficient
- Ad-hoc commercials activities

ROLE PROFILE/ JOB DESCRIPTION
7. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING
 Graduate with business/numerate Degree (Or equivalent)
 FMCG/Retail/VC background would be an advantage
The person needs to be ambitious and have an insatiable hunger for detail but an ability to understand there is always a wider business context to every element. A great relationship former they will need to understand and thrive within the diversity of the workplace, the customer base and cross functional teams that befit such a wide reaching business.
We are looking for a highly organised true starter finisher who can progress within the business with strong communication, maths, PowerPoint and excel skills.

8. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
 You must be a self-starter, who is results orientated and enjoys a continuous improvement environment
 To successfully business partner the sales team you must also be a strong communicator, who is clear and logically thinking to support the Customer needs (internal and external)
 Experience of SAP processes and systems plus Business Objects an advantage
 Strong Excel skills
 Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking developing results and meeting customer needs
