A leading Northern based food manufacturer of own label food-to-go and value-added products are looking for a dynamic National Account Manager to join the team. This company is privately owned and has experienced excellent growth YoY. They supply into retail, B2B and foodservice with some major customers including Asda, 2 Sisters Food Group and Kerry Foods.

This role reports into the Head of Sales and is solely focussed on developing the foodservice side of the business. You will also be responsible for preparing and delivering presentations for products and reporting any sales activities to the management team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is currently working in the food industry and well connected within the Pub Group, B2B or Wholesale foodservice channels.

Main responsibilities include

  • To identify any new business opportunities
  • To achieve budgeted turnover and margins
  • To analyse market information and identify new market trends
  • To build and retain strong relationships with new and existing customers

Requirements & Qualities

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Results driven
  • Time management and planning prioritisation
  • Worked in a field sales role for over 3 years
  • Highly motivated team player
