This is an exceptional opportunity for a confident and driven individual to join an award-winning World foods business. Boasting a turnover of £31m per year, the European Sales Executive will be accountable for both sales and distribution within the independent retail sector throughout the region.

The key accountabilities for this role will include:

  • Working closely with the Sales Development Manager to develop and implement programmes that will build sales and distribution.
  • Identifying those key strategic accounts and opportunities that will ensure effective coverage of the region, and tracking performance according to set objectives.
  • Supporting regional distributors in developing in-market sales in the supply chain.
  • Ensuring healthy inventory level at regional distributors’ warehouse for product availability and smooth supply across all relevant channels.
  • Be the primary point of contact with regional distributors’ sales teams, key wholesalers and retailers, in relation to in-market enquiries and follow up.
  • Collating and tracking information on distribution, prices and competitors’ activities to support business planning.
  • Assisting the Sales Development Manager with sales planning and tracking A&P and other channel expenditure in-line with relevant budgetary controls.
  • Managing new products introduction and launch to the trade in support of regional distributors to maximise distribution.
  • Attending Chinese trade events and maintain a good relationship with different trade contacts and associations.


To be considered for this exciting opportunity you must be able to speak Mandarin or Cantonese. It would be advantageous if you could speak other languages also, however this is not essential. You must have a minimum of 1 years sales experience within FMCG and a strong desire to succeed.
