My Client are looking for a Head of Studio and Content Operations to spearhead their marketing and operations team in Newcastle. The right candidate will have extensive experience of leading large, fast paced operational teams (c.100 heads), able to demonstrate the ability to drive efficiency, scalability and optimise outputs - ideally from the sectors e-commerce or retail.

Description

The Head of Studio and Content Operations will be responsible for the following:

- Management and responsibility for the full digital product pipeline - from warehouse to website
- Delivering strategic and operational KPI's to support company growth targets
- Full management of the content and photography team: recruitment, training, development and performance management.
- Managing the team to deliver in excess of 1,500 published products on the ecommerce site per week.
- Driving SLAs to reduce time from products arriving at our warehouse to being published online
- Continual improvement of the digital product workflow and systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs and support scalability
- Ownership of department budget and targets



Profile

The successful Head of Studio and Content Operations will have the following demonstrable skills and experiences:

- Must have managed a large team (c.100 heads) across photography studio, product sizing and quality control, image editing, copywriting, models & styling, and online visual merchandising
- Be a key member of the senior leadership team
- Extensive experience of leading fast paced operational and creative teams within e-commerce at scale (preferably in fashion or retail)
- An excellent people manager who can drive, hone and inspire an effective marketing and operations team with an open and collaborative culture.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the team and across the business.
- Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement to enhance performance and deliver cost savings.
- Ability to deliver innovations in operations, systems and processes to enhance the customer proposition.
- Strong grasp of core business functions; IT, e-commerce, retail and operational work flows as well as understanding of building infrastructure.
- Results focused, commercial, self-motivated and proactive self-starter.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Able to commute daily to office in Newcastle-upon-Tyne
