This opportunity is for a strong Revenue Manager of single or multi sites wanting to progress into a national premium hotel group. The family run hotel group consists of over 40 premium locations spanning the UK. The business are in need of a Regional Revenue Manager to be the driving force of revenue for the Hotels. Working closely with the General Managers and department heads to develop growth not only in rooms but across all departments.
The group is looking for highly experienced revenue manager that has had experience with multiple sites ideally within the hotel industry. You would be driven by analytics however they need someone that can take a new and creative approach to the role.
You will need to be able to work in a strategic manner and develop tactics for growth. The ability to generate and maintain strong relationships with General Managers and commercial departments within your specified hotels.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage rooms, market mix and pricing strategies to exceed occupancy, RevPAR and revenue targets
- Analyse competitor pricing, research and trends of the local market, investigate demand, develop forecasts, and study historical data to ensure adequate market knowledge
- Work closely with each hotel to set the accommodations strategy, and identify tactics to support the Site’s financial goals
- Develop, monitor and adjust site pricing strategies based upon need periods.
- Ensure a focus on total revenue management of rooms, food and beverage, retail and other revenue opportunities.
- Track, analyse and report on the performance of all revenue generating activities, providing creative and Innovative strategies to increase future revenue
- Stay abreast of market trends, and the hotels’ positions within the market locally and nationally
- Utilize historical data and current trends to produce forecasts and budgets
Experience needed for the role:
- Senior revenue management position held within a transferable nosiness ideally hospitality
- A background in sales and marketing
- A strong knowledge of the hotel industry including revenue channels within the industry
