Job Details
Responsibilities:
- The role will build upon the current relationships with its Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) clients in addition to identifying and building business with new OEMs within the company’s geographic area (UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Far East).
- Working alongside colleagues and distributors to meet the company’s goals, the role also calls upon sound management skills as there are many facilitators, as well as decision makers, who influence the buying outcome in this industry.
- Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), are key to the long term continued growth and profitability of the company.
- Growth and development with Integrators and robotic companies will also be a prime target within this role.
About the Company:
- My client is a family owned business and a trusted and respected manufacturer of metal conveyor belts and conveyors.
- These products are supplied to a wide variety of industry sectors for product handling and processing, and the company is now looking for a talented individual to help it grow and build on its global success to drive the company and group business to the next level.
Key Skills/Experience Required:
- The role requires a person with astute commercial understanding of OEMs, good interpersonal skills and ideally an engineering/technical background.
- The successful person will be competent and conversant with current software and social media tools, and will need to be a good facilitator and communicator to ensure that the OEM projects are maintained and completed.
- Extensive travel and attendance of trade shows is expected to meet the future objectives within this sector.
- It is also envisaged that the role will encompass considerable time in the office coupled with some home working.
Salary/Benefits Information:
- A salary of £50,000 - £60,000 + a bonus of up to £8,000 based on sales targets and KPIs.
