The Role: Representing a market leading catering supplier, the Meat Specialist will target a range of independent foodservice businesses within hospitality, leisure and the public sector. Your main responsibility will be increasing meat lines within these establishments. The role will include menu planning, range reviews, advice on cuts and market trends. Working closely will the business development team, you will provide specialist product information, supporting the sales process.

The Company: With over 17,000 products across several categories, our client is a catering specialist with a portfolio which includes; food and non-food, catering equipment, cleaning chemicals, consumables and pharmacy products. Delivering service excellence and providing all the right ingredients to help a business grow, they have secured their place as market leaders and are recruiting to support continued growth after an internal promotion!

For this role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Must have product knowledge
  • Chef or butcher background ideal
  • Must have sales experience - catering desirable
  • Passion for food and cooking
  • Driving licence

  • Up to £35,000 basic salary depending on experience, plus £8,000 commission
