Junior Commercial Manager | Fresh Food | Progression

We are currently working on an opportunity with a large and well established fresh food business, which is a great chance for someone to take their next step up into a Junior Commercial Manager role. This role will suit someone who has maybe been a Commercial Assistant or Account Executive looking for a move up. You will get the chance to manage your own accounts, whilst supporting the Senior Commercial Manager with larger accounts as well. The person who gets this role will need to demonstrate that they are a good team player and able to collaborate at a range of levels.

The Job:
You will be responsible for maintaining strong working relationships with your customers and suppliers where appropriate.
The category you will be involved in has a broad range of uses so the opportunities for business development are significant and varied. You will be responsible for scoping out and starting to approach potential new clients as well.
You will need to develop a good understanding of your product area, whilst keeping any eye on other categories which are similar to identify any opportunities to develop the offering.

The Candidate:
You will have been working at an Account Executive or Commercial Assistant level for a minimum of a year and be ready for your next step up.
Experience of working with the retailers is important, but if you can demonstrate good acumen and understanding then this can be worked on.
Languages would be a good advantage (French in particular) but not essential.
