Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 basic, plus 10% commission + company car

The Role: Representing a leading foodservice provider within the public sector, the new Business Development Manager will be looking after Hertfordshire, Essex & some parts of East Anglia. You will spend your week prospecting for new business, managing an existing client base, attending equipment launches and demos with one admin day spent at home. Selling a range of branded meals, ingredients/sauces and cooking units to mostly primary and secondary education, you will target contract caterers, chefs and catering managers.
The Company: Our client has achieved a market leading position within the education sector. You can also find the brand in hospitals, workplaces and high street stores. Offering caterers a simple yet nutritional and balanced meal with profitability, they are looking for a sales person with foodservice experience or has sold a concept/solution to join their workforce.
For this sales role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Ideally foodservice background or sold to end users
- Must have b2b sales experience
- Interest in food/catering
- Full UK Driving License
