Procurement Support (Maternity Cover) | Fresh Produce

We are working with one of the UK's largest and well renowned fresh produce suppliers who are looking to cover a procurement position while one of their team heads off on maternity leave.

The Job:
You will be joining a thriving Procurement team where you will be supporting procurement managers ensuring that product will arrive on time. You will be working with growers directly at times, alongside working with procurement teams both in the UK and abroad. You will also be updating reports, KPI's and responsible for weekly forecasts for the business.

This role will be heavily centred around relationships and maintaining good quality communication with growers and other parts of the business, alongside monitoring daily arrivals and ordered quantities.

The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have the following:
A degree or equivalent in a relevant sector such as agriculture, business or agri-food supply chain.
Experience within the fresh produce, agricultural or FMCG industry.
Any experience with Rubicon or other admin experience will be beneficial.
Excellent communication, Microsoft Office and relationship building skills.
