COMPANY / ROLE
Our client is a well-established organisation in the Food industry, the company supply a wide range of foods into Foodservice Accounts.
The company are now looking to recruit a National Account Manager to join their team. Candidates MUST have experience in the food industry, have a proven track-record in sales, business development or account management and has experience selling into the Foodservice side of the market.
Successful candidates will be hardworking, target-driven and looking to join a market leader within the industry.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sell more through mutually agreed sales plans
- Manage and achieve budgeted turnover and budgeted margins
- Undertake commercial negotiations
- Understand trading strategies
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Good communicator, both oral and written
- Committed and resilient individual
- Effective team player
- Commercially aware
- Able to build relationships quickly
- High influencing/ negotiating skills

SALES AND MARKETING
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with customers
- Analysis and evaluation of market information to identify market trends
- Responsible for long term profitable development of markets
- Preparation of effective sales plans to engage target market
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products
- Report on sales activities to management
- Build sales pipeline
- Analysis competition to create plan for engagement
