Are you a forecasting and supply planning whizz? Does creating and implementing a forecasting system from scratch pique your interest? Then this could be a great next role for you! I’m looking for a Head of Demand and Supply Planning to join my client who are one of the fastest growing companies in the UK based in the Midlands.

As the Head of Demand and Supply Planning you will have full responsibility for the forecasting and planning function, managing a small team and setting the onwards strategy working across multiple sites.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Improve and lead the S&OP process
  • Creating an Excel based forecasting system to track demand and SKU requirements
  • Lead and manage a team of demand and supply planners
  • Manage level of waste and reduce obsolete stock
  • Build contingency plans for supply across categories
  • Implement best in class processes
 
The ideal candidate will have the following:
  • Graduate calibre or have equivalent working experience
  • Experience in fresh, chilled or diary advantageous
  • Proven experience in demand and supply planning management
  • Customer focused
  • Able to identify and implement process improvements
  • Highly analytical and with great Excel skills
