Area Sales manager – Bakery Goods

 £30,989 to £34,899 Basic, plus bonus, and car allowance.

Our client is already a established success in the frozen desserts / bakery sector, however as the result of a substantial investment by the parent company it has now put into production a whole new range of fresh goods. It is anticipated the fresh goods will enjoy a similar level of success to the current frozen range, and that there will be a substantial and rapid take up by the existing customer base. 

Whilst the main focus of the role will be to maximise the potential from the existing client base, there is also considerable potential to secure new accounts on the area so you should not be at all anxious about doing at least some prospecting. 

Our client sells successfully into both the contract catering and Horeca sectors so your experience should encompass one or the other ( or even both ) of these channels. It would be a bonus if you also had experience of selling into the Business and Industry sector ( in particular into on site staff restaurants ). 

This particular area covers London and the South East so you should ideally be located within the M25 within easy access to central London on a daily basis. 

To be considered for this exciting position you should ideally be from a fresh food background, preferably either a branded or premium product, and be an accomplished sales and commercial person. Although we are not looking for a chef or a foodie, it would be very much in your favour if you shared our client’s love of good food. 

In return for your dedication and hard work our client is prepared to pay a basic salary of between £30,989 to £34,899, plus bonus, and car allowance.
