What the job entails.
As the Head of Category Development you will ensure that the business drivers and activities are implemented with all customers by working cross functionally with other teams within the business. As the Head of Category Development you will be expected to develop category expertise and vision to the less experienced team members within your team. This role is a one of the senior leadership positions within this organisation and you will be expected to manage a cross functional team effectively so experience within different functions will be a benefit!
The successful Head of Category Development will have:
- Experience within an own label food organisation in a head of Category or equivalent level role
- A tenacious and entrepreneurial approach
- Ability to influence with gravitas cross functionally and externally
- A track record of strategic thinking
- Preferably be degree educated or equivalent
