My Client is a rapidly expanding business who specialise in software as a service. They are based near to watford in hertfordshire and the role will involve a mixture of office and field.





Description

Business Development Manager
  • Plan and execute a direct new business and account management client strategy alongside the central sales and marketing team.
  • Generate leads for clients (retail), developing relationships leading to new business
  • Complete all reporting of sales and commercial activity through CRM and defined business processes.
  • Under the retail market, supported by our marketing insight team
  • Help prioritisation of the products for retail/clients
  • Sell bundled membership, training, implementation, API's
  • To build and grow trusted working relationships


The successful applicant has the authority to expand property and construction clients and contractors, and retain 95% of business customers, and . A high degree of autonomy enables the individual to greatly expand the product services in line with the product roadmap, including features like API's, training, data information services. You will be expected to create leads through driving your own business development programmes by creating your route to market, which may include events, digital marketing, cold/warm calling.







Profile

Business Development Manager
  • A consultative approach to selling
  • Demonstrable sales experience

  • A structured and proven approach to forecasting and pipeline management
  • A goal driven self-starter who manages your own time efficient
  • Excellent verbal and written communication





Industry or product selling experience to any or all of the following would be a big advantage:

    • To the construction industry


    • To environmental, sustainability or health and safety individuals


  • Selling software products and services to businesses
