This family company have been prevalent within the healthcare industry for the last 60 years now and have a great distribution network throughout the UK & Ireland. They also have an export department so have a global remit. They pride themselves on excellent customer service and have a product portfolio of in excess of 4,000 products. These products come under their own brand and also market leading brands within the medical arena. They’ve recently changed their management team and are now looking to accelerate their growth with the addition of a Key Account Manager.
The role will be two-fold, you will be expected to pick up existing accounts and ensure that the service they’re receiving is exceptional, whilst also reviewing their range and discovering any gaps that you may be able to capitalise on. Secondly, you will be expected to identify new business opportunities with accounts that could benefit from your product range.
Medical/healthcare sales experience would be great, however, it’s not essential. The key requirement in this role is desire & hunger combined with the ability to build rapport and get customers on side. Understanding the key fundamentals of the sales process is also extremely important. Having the right attitude and work ethic is paramount to success in this role.
