Job Details
A great opportunity has arisen for a Supply Analyst to join an International arm of a leading FMCG Business based in Surrey. The role is available due an internal progression within the company. The company culture is fast paced and dynamic with excellent growth opportunities.
The key purpose of a Supply Analyst analyses the processes in place and to ensure a smooth and faultless flow of their products. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to influence and improve processes.
The Role:
- Constant communication with the warehouse and distributors to make sure the products are on track to meet delivery time
- Preparation and submission of detailed forecasts (weekly and monthly)
- Analysing and identifying trends within forecasts
- Evaluation of current logistics procedures and logistical costs against the budget
- Dealing with any issues and delays that occur with shipments
- Analysis of the effectiveness of the current supply chain in place
- Work closely with the Supply Chain Management to ensure a smooth end-to-end supply process
- Graduate level or equivalent working experience
- Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and Distributors
- Strong IT skills across all Microsoft packages especially Excel (VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables)
- Great attention to detail and highly analytical
- Proactive and self-reliant with their own workload
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Also, any additional European Languages is advantageous.
