Commercial Planning Manager – CONTRACT
The role of Commercial Planning Manager (MS&P) and its wider team sit within centre of the commercial function and play a critical role in delivering brand performance through the brand, customer management and channel activation teams.
The role is divided between working alongside the Brand team in shaping & tracking their collateral activation plans by providing the voice of the customers and channels and executing /optimising the in-year brand plan.
This Commercial Planning Manager role has a high level of influence over Sales Strategy and Commercial Planning for its brand group. Working closely with marketing, category and sales teams, you will drive their overall Commercial Agenda including Pricing, Promotional, Pack/Price Commercial Strategy across the business. This is an integral role to the overall commercial function with a high level exposure to the Senior Leadership team.
- Experience within a branded FMCG environment
- Direct experience of Commercial Planning, MS&P or Revenue Growth Manager
- Customer Management and selling skills
- Business Planning awareness
- Business performance cycle
- Business and Financial understanding
- High level communication and presentation skills.
As a key lead in a matrix structured environment this is a challenging role that requires outstanding leadership and influencing skills across a broad spectrum of stakeholders. We would expect you be proven in a Commercial Strategy/MS&P function, having worked for a considerable period of time in a Commercial Strategy biased positions such as Market, Strategy & Planning, Commercial Planning or Revenue Growth Management.
