Senior Business Account Manager

Salary – 70K + car or car allowance, bonus, flexible working, health care, pension and a host of other benefits

The Organisation

This leading FMCG business is seeking to recruit a senior business account manager to help manage their biggest customer, the company is a global player within the consumer goods space owning a plethora of household brands.

Success in this role looks like;

In this role it will be your responsibility to handle the interactions between the company and the client in order to achieve strong company sales, share and profit goals and overall, just maintaining a strong and meaningful relationship with the customer.

  • Preparing and delivering the annual sales plan
  • Evaluating promotional ROI in order to use the most effective promotional spending
  • Implementing mutual planned promotional plans taking the budgets into consideration
  • Being able to understand the business’ customers, their shopping and their strategies
  • Communicating efficiently the different customer strategies
  • Driving thought leadership
  • Implementing plans for successful executions and communicating effectively with both the business, clients and customers.
The Person

The role would suit an existing NAM looking to step up into a larger role, a Buying Manager from a leading retailer looking to make the move across to client/supplier side or a customer facing Category Manager keen to gain commercial sales exposure.

You'll need to be;
  • Driven, ambitious and enthusiastic
  • Have a high level of technical skills
  • Effective experience within the FMCG sector in a Commercial role
  • Sold to different grocery multiples
  • Understanding of the UK grocery trade and consumer marketing
  • High level sales, negotiation and business modelling skills
