Our client is a fast growing, well established FMCG business with 3 excellent food brands and a thriving private label business. The brands are sold worldwide and enjoy much success in the US market. Specialising in artisan ambient products, this business is forecast to double its turnover in the next 3 years. The brand is enjoying double digit growth and has huge potential for further growth in the UK. There has been significant investment into accelerating international growth so this is an exciting time to join a thriving FMCG business and take the lead on their biggest and most successful brand as Brand Marketing Manager.

This isn't a job for the faint of heart! This brand needs someone with a commercial edge, someone to spot and exploit an opportunity, move at pace and work alongside the commercial team to deliver the P&L. It needs someone who is passionate about building brands and delighting consumers and with the skills, knowledge and experience to deliver results. This is a hands on, varied role that is pacey and dynamic and will allow you to use the breadth of your skill set:

Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and implement 3yr brand strategy to deliver the business plan
  • Be the spokesperson and gatekeeper for the brand, Manage key marketing agencies - Digital, PR, Packaging
  • Manage PR and social media campaigns
  • Trade shows and exhibitions
  • Understand and report on the consumer, UK competitor s and customer landscape
  • Support NPD team with market insight and rationale, exploring and developing brand stretch opportunities
  • Work closely with commercial team to develop sales promotion plans, attend customer meetings & Identify channel opportunities


The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre with at least five years experience in brand marketing gained in an FMCG business. You will have led at least 3-4 brand planning cycles, will be comfortable managing a P&L and will have a successful track record of delivering growth for your brands. You will be at ease working with data like IRI and Kantar, skilled at developing actionable insights and experienced at bringing innovation to market.
