The role of the business development manager is to take the responsibility to maximise sales growth within designated customers, in a specified geographical area, consistent with company strategy and objectives

My client are a global dermo - cosmetics company.
Description
To become familiar with the geography of the territory and to identify target customers through maintaining and analysing customer records- Produce an annual business plan to support desired territory growth targets. Be able to produce travel and customer efficient journey plans.
To conduct sales calls using elements explained on the training course and in subsequent marketing updates, to carry out pre call planning and preparation and develop a self analytical approach in order to identify learning areas from each call
To carry out record keeping and reporting as identified on the training course, within the time scales stipulated. Reports must be completed in an accurate and timely manner
To share experiences, ideas and techniques in order to help fellow representatives and management at team meetings, in the sales training of colleagues and on other occasions
To conduct customer training using elements explained on the training course and in subsequent marketing updates, to carry out pre call planning and preparation and develop a self-analytical approach in order to identify learning areas from each training session held
Profile
Education, and/or experience :
- Previous experience in the health and beauty / pharmacy market
Qualifications needed :
- Excellent oral and written abilities.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to effectively manage day to day activities and tasks necessary to successfully, complete projects on time.
- To have an up-to-date sales/ technical knowledge of speciality and disease areas and relevant publications.
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel
- Occasional Overnight stays
