This is a great opportunity to own the marketing function of a national hotel group. The group currently has over 30 sites across the UK and has plans to grow substantially within the next 5 years. The business brings a modern twist to hotels, with premium leisure facilities, coupled with industry leading corporate provisions. The role is to work with the central management team to drive campaigns that bring awareness and loyalty in varying revenue streams, focussing on rooms, food & beverage, and meeting & events.

In this role you will lead the current marketing team of 6 and create the brand marketing plan, targeting both B2B and B2C channels. You will play an active part in the commercial senior management team, with input on decisions on customer experience, proposition development and the overall strategy of the business. A large part of the role will be to develop online brand awareness, loyalty and sales, via digital channels including SEO, social media, digital advertising and email marketing.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

• Management, leadership and development of the marketing team
• ROI analysis to measure effectiveness, applying evolving learning and maintaining brand integrity
• Working with creative agencies to develop the regional, national, and global brand
• Enhancing the current CRM systems to support all customer lifecycle journeys using data, insights and marketing automation tools.

Experience needed for the role:

• Management, leadership and development of the marketing team
• A background in generalist marketing.
• A strong knowledge of current and future trends in digital marketing
• Preferably experience with social media marketing on a national and regional scale
