We have an excellent opportunity for a talented and experienced UK National Account Manager to join us.
Remote based with regular travel to the company’s head office in South Wales, you will manage our UK south portfolio including the top grocers, high street retailers and second tier accounts. You will ensure the Company is exploring all potential sales opportunities whilst maintaining existing accounts ensuring overall sales, profit and margin targets are met if not exceeded. You will be able to demonstrate how you use and interpret data to influence buying decisions, use innovative sales techniques and develop joint business plans and strategies for implementation with each customer which add value to every account and get listed in new accounts.
You will have tangible experience of success in a similar role within FMCG ideally in the health and beauty, personal care or cosmetics industries. You will have an excellent track record of managing to deliver increased sales and growth and you know UK national account management inside out including buying strategies and requirements of UK buyers in a fast-changing market.
Adaptable and a smart thinker, you will be a positive self-starter, persuasive and totally self-motivated by the challenge of bringing in new sales and developing accounts. You are resourceful, knowledgeable about the industry and possess the ability to analyse sales and marketing data to enhance your sales results plus proactively monitor competitor activity to identify opportunities and report back into the business with your findings.
Experience of working with the top grocers (Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose etc), major high street retailers (Superdrug, Boots etc and key high street fashion retailers. New Look, Primark etc) and online retail giants (Amazon etc) is essential for this role. Other than that, we won’t describe a long list of tasks that we need you to do. You have done this before and know what is required to deliver excellent results.
