The Business Development Manager - UK and Europe will be responsible for driving new business opportunities with Retailers and Distributors in a assigned UK and Europe territories. This is a 9 month Fixed Term Contract.

Description

The Business Development Manager - UK and Europe will identify new business development opportunities that are in line with the company's growth aspirations and nurture existing accounts to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will prospect and develop new business opportunities with key retailers and turn this into increased business, all the while developing, maintaining and growing long term relationships with high potential customers and existing accounts with a focus on both financial gain and customer satisfaction.

Additionally, the Business Development Manager - UK and Europe will contribute ideas for the marketing team such as POS, incentive and improvements to the marketing literature to help support the Retail community to develop and promote business further. Furthermore, the successful candidate will attend trade shows as appropriate.

This role will require both UK and International travel. The successful candidate will be expected to travel in Europe 2 - 3 weeks of the season, and during the selling period would then visit on average 3 times per season. The rest of the time would be spent visiting UK customers.



The successful candidate will be based in the Midlands / Central England. This is a home-based role, and a 9 month Fixed Term Contract.



Profile

The Business Development Manager - UK and Europe will:
  • Have a proven sales track record, hitting and exceeding
  • Have recent experience in FMCG, and ideally Fashion or Apparel sales
  • Will have a strong track record in prospecting and delivering new business
  • Have a proven track record in effective joint business planning
  • Have demonstrable, strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Have strong IT Skills
  • Will have excellent time management skills
  • Be ideally based in Central England
  • Be willing to work a 9 Month Fixed Term Contract
