A branded and own label bakery business with offices throughout the UK are looking to fill a Senior National Account Manager – Asda role due to an internal promotion. This business are a well-known player within the bakery industry and are renowned for the quality of their products. They have a keen focus on NPD and continue to innovate with new and exciting additions to their range. Their goal is to be the category leader in the areas in which they operate throughout the foodservice, manufacturing and retail arenas.

This role will pick up their Asda relationship for their full product portfolio, an account which equates for c. 25% of their UK business. They have a great relationship with this account currently and they want to maintain & build on this. They see a huge amount of potential with this account, it just needs the right individual to enable this to materialise.

Grocery account management experience within food or drinks is hugely advantageous. A knowledge of the Asda business model would be desirable too. Own label experience would also give you a big advantage! The role will work between their offices in the North and the Midlands and therefore it would be preferred if you were based in one of these areas.
