One of Europe’s most successful ambient food businesses has created a new opportunity for a National Account Manager to join the team. Privately owned, the company currently has a turnover in excess of £250m across the Retail, Wholesale, Foodservice and Business to Business channels. Following significant profitable growth over recent years, the business is looking to appoint an ambitious Senior National Account Manager to drive and further develop their longstanding trading relationship within Aldi.
As Senior National Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of their c.£20m Aldi account as well as two smaller customer trading relationships. Driving a portfolio of brands will be key to this role as well as developing their significant private label contracts. Reporting into the Account Director, you can expect decisions to be made quickly, working with a great degree of autonomy to drive the business as well as offering personal career development.
To be considered for this role you must be a driven and dynamic individual with a strong understanding of the Aldi business and processes. As for product background, experience with private label food products is essential, branded exposure would be a bonus. It is important you are self-motivated and have a keen eye for detail. The business is looking for a loyal individual that wants to be a real part of the company’s long-term plans and growth strategy.
This is a contractually a home based role, the successful candidate will be expected to visit their Midlands head office 1 / 2 days per week.
