Business Development Co-ordinator

Job Description Summary

Existing Clients:

Working with the Business Development Manager, the Business Development Co-ordinator is responsible for assisting with the inflow of work from existing clients and ensuring that their they receive a full and timely response to their queries and requests for new work, whilst building a strong working relationship with these clients.

The Business Development Co-ordinator is responsible for ensuring that the relevant systems / trackers are kept up to date, with complete and accurate information.

Skillset

EXPERIENCE

  • Strong administrative & experience
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Understanding of small businesses’ work environment.

KNOWLEDGE

  • An understanding of the food industry and/or food production preferred
  • A basic knowledge of the principles of regulatory affairs / food labelling

  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Tasks & Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Existing Clients:
  • Acknowledges queries and requests for new business as appropriate - always within 1 working day. (in conjunction with Business Development Manager)
  • Liaises with Business Development Manager and Project Manager as required to create accurate quotation and TAT for client
  • Liaises with Regulatory teams to provide answers to specialist queries
  • Ensures Client queries and requests for new work are responded to in a timely manner, with full and accurate information. (SLA to be agreed)
  • Sets up new projects on the relevant IT system and passes over to the NBPM for delivery
  • Checks and Maintains complete and accurate data on relevant systems, at all stages of the project, including completion.
  • Ensure system data is complete for invoicing.
  • General:
  • Client Reporting – produce status reports as required and provide to Business Development Manager
  • Internal Reporting – produce new business & other reports with agreed content and frequency as required.

FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Regular internal contact with the International Team, New Business Manager, Project Manager other Ashbury services (UK regulatory team, Admin) and client teams.
