Summary of Job Function

We have an exciting position for a Data Analyst to join the P&G team at FSS. The role will be sitting within the Reporting & Insights team, reporting into the Business Analytics Manager. The role will be working closely with BAM to support the wider team within P&G through providing effective and efficient reporting on a regular basis. You will ensure that you provide accurate and consistent data on a regular basis so the team can achieve agreed customer objectives and smooth day-to-day running of the P&G account.

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Production and distribution of weekly and monthly reports for management and Client in a timely manner
  • Carry out regular checks on the data to ensure data is accurate and consistent
  • Work closely with the BI team to resolve issues and data discrepancies
  • Liaise with the BI team to manage the online reporting portal and create new reporting as per the brief.
  • Working closely with the National Field Manager to set field targets and calculate their bonus payouts
  • Own Field Reporting on a regular & ad-hoc basis.
  • Provide support to the senior management on client reviews and updating the deck with the correct/consistent data
  • Providing data in a clean formatted way to the wider team on a regular basis
  • Makes sure has facts and information from various sources in order to resolve issues and carry out tasks.
  • Analyse data and ask probing questions to get to the heart of issues rather than accepting at face value.
  • Maintain a logical and efficient computerized filing system, data storage and action on a daily basis where necessary and required.
  • Use correct communication methods to provide data to the business.
  • Demonstrate ability to process complex or challenging information and break it down into manageable pieces.
  • Understands the impact and implications of an ROI model.
  • Undertake additional tasks or projects as and when required.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous Experience of working within a similar role
  • Advance Excel skills required
  • High Attention to detail to drive accuracy and consistency in the data provided
  • Excellent planning & organizational skills
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Able to identify trends in analysis to inform recommendation and learnings
  • Be a self starter showing initiative, flexibility and commitment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate a message in a clear and concise manner
  • Live within a commutable distance of Thame
