CSG are currently partnered with an establish business who have dominated the Soft Toy category for over 10 years across the EMEA market. They have some fantastic licences within their portfolio which allows for great market penetration and enables them to stand out within the industry.

Due to growth within the business, they are now looking for a Sales Representative to join their team, to cover the South of the UK.

This position will report directly into the Sales Manager who will work with you to map out the territory and prioritise the account base. Ideally the successful candidate will be located in the South of the Country around the East end of the M4 corridor; which will allow for more effective travel plans and prioritising of the workload. This is a home-based opportunity however will require you to stay away overnight on a weekly basis to manage the territory effectively and there will be a requirement to be in the head office when requested. This is a very hand on role where you will need to be used to working with initiative in a fast-paced environment and flexible with your time. There will be several accounts that you will inherit however the focus of this role will be new business development, so this must be something you are confident in delivering.

Key responsibility's

  • Implement the Sales and Marketing plans as directed
  • Update and submit monthly forecast planning.
  • Submit weekly sales, and any other relevant, updates
  • Manage actively the pricing strategy
  • Work closely with the sales support team to achieve a best in class outcome with customers
  • Participate in relevant Preview and Toy Fairs
  • Planning effective and commercially viable travel plans to ensure that all the accounts are handled in a professional way

The ideal candidate will have a background in Toys, Stationary or Gift and have previous account management experience. You will be commercially focused and capable of delivering results in a cost-effective manner. You will have strong organisational, planning and communication skills and can work as part of a team; as well as on your own.

You will be capable of building working relationships and networks with people from a range of backgrounds and cultures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the right attributes and experience to join a fast moving, growing and dynamic company.
