Sales / Commercial Controller - grocery retail, leading innovation, strong career progression
Sales Controller required to lead commercial performance at a £multi-million manufacturing site where a complex portfolio of private label ranges are made, as part of a well-known wider manufacturing group.
As Sales Controller you will take full ownership and accountability for the commercial performance of your site, with key retail customers including Asda, Morrison, Tesco and M&S, alongside food service and discounter channels.
With M&S being the largest strategic customer account from this site, current or recent experience of working with them would support any application, as will exposure to multiple grocery retail customer accounts.
The business we have been asked to support have demonstrated impressive organic growth for several consecutive years now, as well as achieving additional growth through the acquisition of additional sites to help them drive in to extended category ranges.
With continued growth forecast driving from extensive innovation as well further acquisition opportunities being explored, the business is clearly one that is able to offer strong career progression opportunities to those who perform.
The immediate role will be responsible for leading a team of National Account Managers, as well as leading those in innovation, category and brand marketing functions.
