Commercial Sales Manager | Animal Feeds
We are currently working with one of the largest independent suppliers into the UK food & animal feed market who are looking to grow their current management team and are looking to take on an established Commercial Sales Manager. Our client are ideally looking for an established and competent feed and cereal expert; however they are keen to hear from more junior sales people with the desire to work for a really well-respected business.
This role will be part of the Senior Management Committee working closely with Directors on site whilst also engaging in the day-to-day feed pricing and customer support, so a nice varied role for a commercial sales person looking to add strategy in their next career move. This role will comprise some key account management on behalf of the business where you will keep regular contact with larger high value accounts that are crucial to the business's success. Feed pricing strategy will also be a crucial part of this role and supporting the current Sales team and Directors with up to date information.
To be successful in this role you would have the following skill set:
Ideally experience in compound feed milling or grain and animal feed sales. Other sales experience will be considered in the agricultural industry.
Experience with account & senior account management. Also with line management within a commercial team.
Ideally experience with pricing strategy.
Excellent communication, Microsoft Office and relationship building skills will help you with negotiating and taking a natural lead in the Commercial team.
