Regional Sales Manager (EMEA) - Food Ingredients - Home Based

Package: Competitive + Bonus + Car Allowance + Private Medical Cover

 I’m currently working with a pioneering food ingredients business, who are a leading producer and distributor to the global food and beverage industry. With a global market opportunity, they are one of the largest worldwide producers of their specialist ingredients and the company are anticipating rapid and scalable growth.

 As part of their continued success, they are looking to recruit a Key Account Manager (EMEA). The role will be home based but will require travel outside of the UK 50% of the time.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a major global Food & Beverage clients with Regional (EMEA) responsibilities.
  • Responsible for the regional strategy for assigned accounts
  • Responsible for setting and delivering Budget expectations and plans
  • Responsible for building a robust pipeline of project opportunities within the portfolio to achieve the aggressive future growth plans
  • Ensure client has full access to all our innovation and technical support, in line with global strategy

 Requirements

  • Experience in commercial sales in a food/food ingredient/flavour or adjacent environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clear ability to communicate dynamically with external client at all levels through to Senior Management
  • Experienced in setting budgets and targets and monitoring performance against objectives.
  • Strong project management capabilities and leadership/guidance in project management
  • Ability to work & thrive in a matrix structure, sharing and benefitting from the opportunities of a such a global structure
  • Passion for food and beverage, focused on excellence and showcasing innovation
  • Travel as required to fulfil the objectives set mainly within the EMEA region.

A competitive basic salary plus bonus of 20% and the role comes with a car allowance, company pension and private healthcare.
