National Account Controller (Off Trade)

As the National Account Controller responsible for Off Trade customers, you would nurture relationships both internally and externally throughout the product lifecycle; from the apple in the orchard to the cider on the shelf. This is an exciting role that offers a unique breadth of exposure to the business. You will be responsible for a substantial account portfolio, working closely with internal colleagues in production forecasting, finance, supply chain and field sales.  You will build strong working relationships with customers and you will have the opportunity to develop links with key contacts in a variety of areas.  Your work will be underpinned by commercial analysis of sales data and market trends.

About You

This role is all about achieving growth through great long-term business relationships; to do it well you will need to have had significant experience in FMCG.  To thrive in the role and at Thatchers, you will be someone who naturally gets involved, goes the extra mile, has a positive outlook and is curious and questioning. You will have a skill-set that stands you in good stead for working with the largest of our customers, including exceptional abilities in selling, presenting, negotiation and handling figures.  You are likely to be looking for a different kind of opportunity; entrepreneurial and challenging in a growth orientated family business.

About the team you’ll be working with

We are one sales team at Thatchers, with a close connection between Off and On Trade. More specifically you will be part of a collaborative team of four working on national Off Trade accounts.

You will report into the Head of Off Trade and be part of the Off Trade team led by Chris, our Off Trade Sales Director.  Chris has master-minded our sales growth over the past ten years and is crafting the team that can continue this trajectory for the next ten.
