The role in more detail..
Our client is looking for top talent from the FMCG industry to manage their relationship within their Discounter channel. You will leverage industry leading analytics and shopper insights to grow the business as well as leading negotiations and executing best-in-class shopper focussed plans with your customer. You will be involved and responsible for developing and implementing a clear defined channel strategy for your account base. You will also be expected to pro-actively track performance of your account(s) understanding the key drivers of the performance and working closely with the National Account Managers and the cross functional team to implement corrective action to deliver against the P&L target and strategic plan.
The ‘ideal’ fit
- Have experience at National Account Manager level within the Discounter channel
- MUST have 1st class negotiation skills
- Be able to demonstrate understanding of the Category Management process and awareness of how to use it to generate wins
- Entrepreneurial flair
- Listens, understands & responds to customers’ needs
