Are you an experienced commercial professional with experience in the gardening or garden suppliers sector? Do you have a solid track record of delivering account growth with the garden centre groups and national accounts? If so, we want to hear from you.

About Our Client:
Our client is a leading provider of stylish products for garden and home. They have a great reputation for quality, sustainable products and offer a fantastic range that will have something in it for all. They are an established business with relationships with the major retailers and garden groups.

About the Job:
This role will focus on several key accounts for the business, including Dobbies, Nottcutts, Wyevale, Blue Diamond, Choice Marketing, Tillington, Haskins etc. You will utilise your experience with key customers like this to drive commercial performance for the business. You will also oversee and help develop regional sales people across some of the smaller accounts in your portfolio - the regional people will handle the day-to-day account management but these accounts will still form part of your P+L. So, you will have people to manage as part of your remit to grow the sales of the business. You will be a dynamic account manager able to form collaborative relationships with clients. You will also support the senior team with the large multiple accounts, including B&Q, Homebase and Decco.

The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of managing relationships with large / key / national accounts in the garden sector. You will be able to build on existing relationships to drive commercial performance, increasing sales and maintaining margins. You will be adaptable and able to pitch to a variety of stakeholders. You will be able to assess the range of products on offer within a customer to make suggestions for improvement, keeping clients and consumers in mind. You will be down-to-earth, friendly and a team player with a good sense of humour.

Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role you will need experience in the garden / garden sundries area. You will have a solid track record of delivering commercial results across a variety of accounts. You will need to have drive, be dynamic and either have or show potential for managing a small team.
