Commercial Manager | Lincolnshire | Creative
We are working with a reputable and growing FMCG business who have an opportunity for an experienced Account Manager / Commercial Manager to join a fast moving part of their business. You will have a huge amount of influence on this account and be able to directly affect the sales, promotions and merchandising with a fairly quick turnaround as the vast majority of the sales are online. Strength of relationships are going to be key in this role and will allow you to investigate more opportunities to grow sales.
You will act as the key representative for this customer within the wider business. You will need to ensure that their requirements are well understood and met to the required standards.
You will be working closely with the customer and spending regular time at their Head Office with the team, to really understand the inner workings.
The range of products that are on offer are constantly reviewed throughout the year, so there will be a lot of creative management needed to maximise this.
You will have worked as a Commercial Manager or Account Manager, ideally working with an online retailer or you will have worked in a dotcom / e-commerce environment.
This role requires quite a lot of creative thinking, both from a marketing / merchandising point of view, but also the products themselves. Therefore experience in a "creative" sector would be advantageous (fashion, cut flowers, home furnishings etc).
The ability to think on your feet and act quickly on information is going to be crucial.
Good IT skills will be essential, Excel to an Intermediate / Advanced level in particular.
