A leading blue chip FMCG company is recruiting for a National Account Executive to work on one of their largest Grocery customers. This business is instantly recognisable globally with a portfolio of truly iconic food brand and a career path which will see the opportunity for fast tracked progression from National Account Executive to NAM in no time.

Role:

This could be your first grocery National Account Executive role. You’ll be part of a wider Grocery team managing a specific product/Customer sales Channel portfolio. You will be responsible for the achievement of volume, profit and net revenue. You will be reporting directly to the National Account Controller on your account.

Location:

Field Based with 2 days per week in office

Requirements:

You will be an upwards curve National Account Executive at a National level having held some P&L and budget responsibility in a FMCG environment. You will be highly analytical with strong personal influencing skills as you will be required to influence at all levels internally & externally. A resilient professional with real passion, drive and enthusiasm is required to move into this role. A real high flier searching for new challenges would be an ideal candidate to work in such a fast-paced environment.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • FMCG sales
  • Retail customer account management
  • P&L exposure (not essential though!)
  • Superb relationship building skills
  • Strongly analytical
  • Exceptional influencing skills
  • Understanding in category management and ability to apply this
  • A positive and ’can do’ attitude
